This morning I had the pleasure of visiting a Birmingham’s finest Gentleman’s barbering establishment.
From the moment I walked through the door where I was greeted with a handshake from my barber, Jason, to the moment I left after a friendly chat with Proprietor Dale, I felt that a friendly personal Service was the number one priority.
Jason shook my hand introduced him self and took my bag and jacket whilst another barber offered me a choice of drinks. Although at 11am I felt more like a nice cuppa than a beer there was a well stocked selection of alcoholic beverages up for grabs.
Jason knew exactly what look i was going for and he took great care and attention throughout the cut. So often it can feel like you are rushed out the chair to make way for the next punter but defiantly not here.
Today i was just visiting for a cut but the salon offers a wide range of services: Traditional Shave, ear flaming and Complimentary shoe shining.
If you’re in the area I would definitely recommend a visit very Traditional, personal and defiantly not as pretentious as other similar establishments I have visited. I’d skip ‘The Groom Room’ for this joint any day of the week.
